About me presentation

My name is Lawrence Hedvat. And this blog is to tell you about myself. Lets start from the beginning. I was born in Manhattan, New York on November 22, 1995 to a Persian-Jewish father, yes that’s a real thing, and a Mexican-Puerto Rican mother. I have 3 little sisters who are 16, 15, and 8. I lived in the upper west side of Manhattan until I was four years old. Once my second sister was born my parents decided to move to the suburbs where I was raised most of my life. The suburb they chose was Greenwich, CT. At Greenwich High School I played football and lacrosse. Here at Miami I am a Junior Finance major. Outside of school I am a member of a social fraternity called Phi Delta Theta. Things I enjoy doing are playing basketball and flag football, both through the fraternity intramural league and pick up at the rec. I also really enjoy fishing and scuba diving. I am PADI certified for Advanced Open Water, Night Diving, deep diving, and Wreck Diving. Unfortunately, I haven’t really been able to dive since starting school here, but I would like to start diving again. Once I graduate I would like to work in Finance. My dream first job would be working at a Financial firm in New York City. In the future I would like to live in New York City for most of my young adulthood. The teams I root for are the Yankees, Knicks, Giants, and Rangers. The music I listen to is mostly rap and reggae. My favorite artist right now would be A$AP Rocky, other people I listen to are Drake, Future, and the other A$AP mob members. My favorite A$AP Rocky song is Angels but my absolute favorite song right now is White Iverson by Post Malone. One fun fact is that I speak Spanish fluently
